Ham and Potato Soup

4 cups of ham, I use left over spiral ham chopped

1 tbsp butter

2 carrots chopped

2 garlic gloves minced

5 celery stalk with leaves chopped

1 large onion chopped

3 cups wter

3 chicken bouillon cubes

1 large potato peeled and chopped

1 medium red potato chopped

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp thyme dried

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp rosemary dried

1 ear sweet corn cooked and peeled off husk

2 tbsp flour

2 cups reduced milk

In large pot sautee carrots, celery, onions and garlic in butter till nice and tender on low heat,

add ham, water, potatoes, salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary and sweet corn

Cook for about 3 to four hours on low heat

In medium size bowl add flour and milk, whisk together

Add flour and milk to soup, stir cooking another 30 minutes to 1 hour

Enjoy refreshing and quite tasty…
