Beef and Italian Sausage Meatballs

3 tbsp olive oil

4 large garlic gloves minced

2 small onions minced

MEATBALL INGREDIENTS

1 lb ground beef

1 lb hot ground Italian sausage

2 eggs

1/2 cup grated Asiago cheese

2 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp dried parsley

1 tsp dried basil

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

1 tsp oregano

MILK AND BREADCRUMB MIXTURE

1 cup whole milk

1 cup panko bread crumbs

Sautee onions and garlic in olive oil, until nice and tender, set aside and cool

Mix milk and panko bread crumbs, set aside

Add all meatball ingredients together in large bowl, Mix well, I use my hands

Add cooled onions and garlic

Add milk and breadcrumb mixture

Blend all ingredients well, Shape meat mixture in a large ball, cover with aluminum foil

Refrigerate several hours

PREHEAT OVEN 350

Remove meatball mixture from refrigerator and shape into mini balls or large balls.

Your choice depends how you are serving the meatballs.

Bake for 30 minutes or till tender, Do not over cook

Serve with spaghetti , meatball sandwiches or as a appetizer
