
Ingredients
1 15 oz dry bean mix – remove dry seasoning package
1 bone ham hock or 3 cups cooked ham – I used smoke ham
1 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
1 white onion diced
2 cups carrots chopped
3 celery stalks chopped
2 whole minced garlic
8 cups chicken broth
2 12 oz cans v-8 juice
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp smoke paprika
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp dry. Parsley
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Place in order all ingredients in crock pot, mix cover
Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours
or
High 4 to 5 hours
Serve bean soup with corn bread
