Lawry’s Spinning Salad Recipe

Lawry’s restaurant in Chicago is one of my husband’s

Favorite places to eat. We both love the spinning bowl salad

Here is my creation!!!

2 eggs cooked, peeled, diced

1 cup slice thin fresh beets

2 cup romaine lettuce, torn into bite size pieces

2 cups iceberg lettuce, torn into bite size pieces

1/2 cup fresh baby spinach

(dressing)

3 tbsp cider vinegar

3 tbsp water

2 tbsp apple sauce

1 tbsp Worchestershire sauce

1 tsp very dry sherry

1 tsp Lawry’s season salt

1 tsp white sugar

1 large fresh garlic minced

1/3 tsp Hungarian hot paprika

1/2 cup olive

Place dressing in blender, mix well

Chill

In large bowl, combine lettuce, spinach, beets, eggs, sprinkle with season salt & pepper

toss with dressing

Garnish salad with croutons & small diced heirloom tomatoes

Top off with fresh crack pepper

Take dressing out of refrigerator for about 20 minutes to let olive oil settle

A wonderful salad specially for the holidays!
